Overview
Pinnacle of Kings (PoK) is Stormshot's major Kingdom vs Kingdom event. The victorious Kingdom gains powerful King Skills, and all participants earn generous rewards. The event runs in three stages: Preparation, Battle, and Recovery.
The centerpiece of the Battle stage is the Atlantis Clash — a fight for control of the Atlantean Citadel. The Alliance that holds the Citadel longest wins the Clash for their Kingdom.
Tournament Format
4 to 8 Kingdoms are matched into a group and compete over 2 to 3 weeks until the strongest Kingdom is determined.
| Group Size | Structure |
|---|---|
| 4 Kingdoms | Week 1: two pairs compete. Week 2: winners fight for 1st/2nd; losers fight for 3rd/4th. |
| 8 Kingdoms | Same bracket structure with an additional Week 3 to determine final rankings. |
ℹ Cross-Server Chat
During the event, cross-server chat is available for a limited time so participants can communicate with their opponents.
Preparation Stage
The Preparation Stage lasts 5 days. Lords complete daily quests to earn Points. The Kingdom with higher total Points at the end becomes the Attacker; the other becomes the Defender. The Atlantis Clash takes place at the defending Kingdom's Atlantean Citadel.
⚔ Peace Shield Advantage
The attacking Kingdom's Atlantean Citadel and Blessed Turrets are protected by a Peace Shield throughout the entire event. The Defender's shield drops when the battle begins.
Battle Time Selection
R5 and R4 members of the Alliance with the highest Battle Power in the Kingdom select the battle time during the Preparation Stage. Only one final time slot is confirmed per Kingdom.
- Time slots can be selected on Monday and Tuesday
- The final time is confirmed on Wednesday
- If your Kingdom doesn't select a time, the opponent's registered time is used by default
- If neither Kingdom selects a time, the system randomly assigns one
- Once confirmed, all Lords in both Kingdoms are notified via the PoK interface and system mail
⚠ Don't Miss the Window
Selection closes Wednesday. If the top alliance's R5/R4s don't act in time, the opponent's preferred time is used — or the system picks randomly. Coordinate this early.
Quests & Points
Daily quests run throughout the 5-day Preparation Stage. Completing them grants Points that unlock individual and alliance rewards at specified thresholds. Unclaimed rewards are sent via mail.
- Solo Points — your personal Points are ranked within the Kingdom. Lords reaching certain rank thresholds receive rewards.
- Alliance Points — all Lords' Points in an Alliance are combined. When the total reaches thresholds, all Alliance members receive the corresponding rewards.
Battle Stage
The Atlantis Clash lasts 4 hours. An Alliance that continuously occupies the Atlantean Citadel for 1 hour claims immediate victory. If no Alliance does this by the end of the 4 hours, the Alliance that held the Citadel for the longest total time wins.
When battle begins, the Defender's Atlantean Citadel and Turrets have their Peace Shields deactivated and become open to attack.
The Black Forest
Surrounding the Atlantean Citadel is a zone called the Black Forest where combat rules differ significantly from the rest of the map.
- Lords whose Estates are within the Black Forest can attack any other Lord in the area — including Lords from the same Kingdom (except same-Alliance members)
- Peace Shields cannot be used inside the Black Forest
- Lords outside the Black Forest can attack Lords inside it
- Lords outside the Black Forest can only attack Lords from the same Kingdom, as normal
⚠ No Shields in the Black Forest
If your Estate is in or near the Black Forest, your Peace Shield will not protect you. Either commit to fighting or relocate before battle begins.
Blessed Turrets
Blessed Turrets surround the Atlantean Citadel and can be captured and controlled by either Kingdom.
- Once controlled, a Turret fires a crystal arrow every 300 seconds at enemy Lords within the Atlantean Citadel
- Turrets do not attack Lords from the same Kingdom as the controlling force
- The more troops garrisoned in a Turret, the greater the casualties inflicted on targets — up to a maximum 3% casualty rate per attack
Troop Casualties
PoK uses a different casualty model than standard combat. Real troops are killed here — but the Recovery Stage restores them. Know this going in.
| Scenario | Severely Wounded | Killed |
|---|---|---|
| Combat within Atlantean Citadel or Blessed Turrets | 55% | 45% |
| Hit by a Turret's crystal arrow | — | 1%, 2%, or 3% based on turret level (max 10,000 killed per attack) |
✓ Recovery Covers You
War Deity's Blessing during the Recovery Stage revives 100% of troops lost in that week's battle. Don't hold your troops back out of fear — you will get them all back.
Scoring
Individual Points are earned throughout the Battle Stage and determine personal rewards independently of which Kingdom wins the Clash.
| Action | Points |
|---|---|
| Kill enemy troops | 1 point per 1 Power of Troops killed |
| Lose your own troops | 1 point per 4 Power of Troops lost |
| Garrison a Blessed Turret | 30 points/sec (requires 10,000+ troops garrisoned) |
| Garrison the Atlantean Citadel | 60 points/sec (requires 20,000+ troops garrisoned) |
ℹ Points Even in a Loss
If the Clash is going against K420, maintaining a strong Citadel garrison still earns 60 pts/sec for everyone contributing. Stay engaged — individual rewards don't stop accruing just because the Kingdom outcome looks unfavorable.
Troop Recovery
Understanding where your troops go during and after battle is critical. Losses are not permanent — but you need to know the pipeline so nothing slips through the cracks.
During the Battle
All troops lost in Citadel or Turret combat are immediately removed from play for the duration of the battle. Wounded troops flow first to your Estate Hospitals. Once Hospitals are full, overflow wounded go to the Sanctuary.
The Sanctuary
The Sanctuary is a secondary recovery buffer that catches wounded troops when your Hospitals are at capacity.
- When Hospitals are full, a percentage of slain troops are sent to the Sanctuary — raise your VIP level or open a Subscription to increase this percentage
- Troops in the Sanctuary are mortally wounded — Holy Water revives them automatically once selected
- Higher Hospital Capacity means faster Holy Water gathering
- When Hospitals have fewer injured troops, Holy Water gathers faster; when the Sanctuary is near its cap, it gathers more slowly
- Earning Daily Rewards, gathering, and collecting resources all earn additional Holy Water while you have troops in the Sanctuary
- There is a hard cap on how much Holy Water you can hold at one time
ℹ Maximize your Hospital capacity
The larger your Hospital capacity, the less overflow reaches the Sanctuary and the faster you gather Holy Water. Prioritize Hospital upgrades before any PoK event.
Troop Recovery Flow
Here's how it all fits together — from taking losses in battle through to getting your troops back.
War Deity's Blessing
After each week's Battle Stage, the Recovery Stage opens. War Deity's Blessing revives 100% of the troops lost during that week's PoK Battle Stage.
- Applies to troops lost in that specific week's battle — not cumulative across weeks
- If you don't claim in time, unclaimed troops are reissued via mail after the Recovery Stage ends — always check your inbox
⚔ Commit your troops
Between War Deity's Blessing (100% revival) and the Sanctuary, there is no reason to hold back during the Clash. Fight aggressively. You will get your troops back.
Kingship Rules
After each Atlantis Clash, Kingship may change hands based on the outcome.
| Role | Win | Loss |
|---|---|---|
| Attacker | Appoint a new King | Previous King continues; if no King, continue without one |
| Defender | Appoint a new King | Cannot appoint a King; current King is dethroned |

K420 Strategy Notes
Before the Event
- Confirm which alliance is leading PoK at least 48 hours before Preparation Stage ends
- R5/R4s of the top alliance must select a battle time before Wednesday — missing this hands time selection to the opponent
- Complete your daily Preparation Stage quests every day — they directly determine Attacker/Defender status
- Activate Sea Master Fury as close to battle start as possible — it takes effect immediately
- Activate Sea Master Protection timed to when your peace shield expires — set an alarm, this is easy to forget
During the Clash
- The win condition is 1 continuous hour in the Citadel — coordinate garrison rotations so it's never empty
- Turrets fire every 5 minutes and earn 30 pts/sec — assigning players to hold them is worth it
- If your Estate is in the Black Forest, your shield won't save you — fight or relocate before battle
- Even if the Clash is lost, stay in the Citadel garrison — 60 pts/sec continues to earn individual rewards
After the Clash
- Open the Recovery Stage and revive troops immediately — 100% revival is available, don't let it expire
- If you miss the revival window, check your mail — unclaimed troops are reissued there
- If K420 wins, the King should distribute Royal Packages to the Kingdom promptly
